DARKROOM PROCESS

  • Product development began with a simple concept: create a “holy grail” palette that blends wearable shades with trend shades in a palette split into warm and cool halves. target demographics were broad, with the palette positioned as “professional” but accessible and appealing to a wide range of ages, skintones, and personal aesthetics. The 18-pan slim design with mirror leaves no wasted space and soft touch matte finish packaging feels luxe.

  • To create a truly engaging social media experience, the palette would be presented in 18 posts on instagram as icons of each shade. when clicked, all 18 posts unlock videos with behind-the-scenes content and final makeup looks using the respective shades. This created a truly discoverable and interactive experience for followers.

  • Campaign shoot needed to feel cinematic and relevant, with 90’s/2000’s futurism resonating with both gen z and millennial consumers. maximizing budget, all stills and video assets were shot at once with two teams on site. wardrobe by neofuturistic brand demobaza and popsicle studios chosen as location for its recognizability in batman: the dark knight and lady gaga’s “bad romance” music video.

  • PR strategy was tiered with 2 different pr boxes sent to influencers. prioritizing influencers with high engagement who would create ugc, a premium rigid pr box was sent to this group first; with a major round of corrugated pr boxes sent to a much broader list of content creators at launch.

The World’s Best Makeup Brushes

The Sigma x Jordan Liberty Master Artistry Collection fuses Sigma’s exceptional engineering with Jordan’s decade-long career as professional makeup artist. With patented double-threaded interlocking ferrules and vegan-friendly, cruelty-free, shed-resistant antimicrobial fibers — and as the world’s first waterproof pro brush set, this collection was designed to perform for life without degrading (even when exposed to moisture). The Master Artistry Collection is backed by Sigma’s 2-year warranty and includes 14 brushes + vegan leather brush cup, $249.

Included with each brush set is a vegan leather brush cup for sorting and storing brushes.

Use and Care

All 14 brushes can be used interchangeably between powder, cream, and liquid formulas of makeup and skincare. They can be cleaned with any brush spray or brush wash (Jordan recommends the Sigmagic Brushampoo) without sustaining damage from exposure to water and moisture. If submerged, it’s best to lay the brushes flat on a towel to dry, or they can be hung upside down using the Sigma Dry’N Shape Spa to drain excess water and promote faster drying.

The Sigma x Jordan Liberty Master Artistry Collection includes 5 complexion brushes (Complexion Fan, Camouflage, Face & Body, Tapered Dome, and Structure), 6 eye brushes (Ponytail, Tapered Ponytail, Socketline, Pencil, Eye Shader, and Soft Shader), and 3 multitaskers (Multitasking, Precision Fan, and Precision Angle).
